PipeFix Plumbing offers blocked drain clearing services with a guarantee. We use either a high pressure water jetter or an electric eel to help clear your blocked drains. Whether you have a blocked toilet, basin, shower waste or you have a sewer or storm-water blockage, we can unblock it for you. PipeFix Plumbing services offer a no time charge guarantee, which means you won't have to pay for our time if we can't unblock your drain.
Sewer Blockages.
For any minor blockages hand rods may clear blockage without the use of specialised equipment, for other more major blockages, PipeFix Plumbers generally use an electric eel or high pressure water jetter.
High Pressure Jet Rodder.
We use a high pressure petrol powered jetter machine to clear those stubborn blockages, With a range of cutting heads and 60m of hose we can clear all drains, great for grease build ups, fats, oils, silt, roots and more.
Relining
Once the Drain has been cleared and the problem identified, in some cases digging is not an option and too expensive. We can offer our services to Reline your exsiting drain saving many headaches.
Once Roots have found their way into your drain system they continue to grow and can cause stress on the pipe causing it to break. A Resin can be inserted into the problem area and left to cure, giving you longer life expectancy on old earthenware/clay/PVC drains.
CCTV Pipe Camera.
For re-occurring blockages, Pipefix Plumbing use a CCTV pipe camera to locate the cause of the problem. Photos of the blockage and drainage system are available for your reference if required. Once a blockage has been located then a quote can be provided for repair works.
Electric Eel.
The Electric Eel is great for removing tree roots and clearing badly blocked drains. This powerful machine powers through the blockage with its flexible cables and various cutting heads that will get your drain flowing as normal. Generally we follow the eel with our Ridgid camera and Locater to determine exactly where the blockage occured and mark the spot for future reference.

Want to make the switch to gas? Most Auckland properties have the opportunity to use natural gas. Where natural gas is not available, LPG bottles can be used to maximise your savings. Switching to gas supply is much more efficient then operating eletrical appliances. We can offer great advice on gas cooking, gas heating and gas hot water. If you already have existing gas appliances, we can offer maintenance or replacement on most makes and model appliances.
Most gas appliances require an eletrical connection. We have a close relationship with many trades and can organise same day installation for an easy transition.
All gas fitting work comes with certification and 12 months warranty for peace of mind.

Q. DO I NEED TO SERVICE MY HOT WATER UNIT?
We recommend a six monthly service to be completed by the home owner:
Simply operate the Pressure & Temperature Relief Valve for approximately 10 seconds by lifting the lever on the valve to ensure water is relieved to waste through the relief drain pipe. Check to ensure the valve closes correctly.
Also do a visual check for any leaks around your storage tank and pipework, ensuring the cylinder is dry and free from moisture.
We recommend a service every 3 years by a licensed plumber to ensure optimum operation of the unit.
Q. WHAT DO I DO IF I HAVE NO HOT WATER?
Some checks you can perform yourself:
Is the Pressure Relief Valve discharging too much water?
Is one outlet (such as the shower) using more hot water than you think?
Is there a leaking hot water pipe or dripping hot water tap?
Has the circuit breaker tripped at the fuse board?
Low Pressure to Mains Pressure.
Have you got Low hot water pressure? The problem could be with your existing hot water system. Upgrading to mains pressure has a siginificant impact to improving the pressure throughout the house. Within roughly half a day we can remove/dispose of your old system, then install and connect your new mains pressure tank. We will commission and test all tap-ware on completion.
Temporary Hot Water.
We have temporary hot water heaters to get you through the weekend or afterhours until your replacement unit is ready. These are handy when your on demand gas hot water system requires new parts or servicing.
Requiring minimal effort to install, these continuous hot water heaters deliver 21L of water a minute at 50 degrees to ensure the whole household can enjoy a hot shower.
